This 15-item scale encompasses overall performance in the primary areas of patient care, including: diagnostic reasoning, informed consent, anatomical and procedural knowledge, operative abilities, team work, pre/intra/post operative patient management, and documentation. Scale items specify relative level of competency to established performance standards.The instrument includes a weighted scale for measuring the case difficulty level.
