GME General Competencies - Formative Assessment.v1

Formative Assessment of the six GME competencies published by the ACGME. This assessment captures performance information for activities or actions associated with the development of abilities for any specialty, and facilitates the documentation of performance quality and independence across the six competencies. Assessors may use the instrument for general assessments or for specific assessments (e.g.s. Surgical Tasks, Diagnostic Reasoning, Informed Consent Process, etc.). Performance data from this instrument is compatible with ACGME reporting requirements. Although not essential, it is helpful to have a general knowledge of the ACGME competencies before using this assessment instrument.
