Arterial Line Placement, Femoral, Seldinger Approach - Summative.V1

Summative performance assessment for arterial line placement in the femoral artery using the Seldinger technique. Construct Validity p<.001; Test-retest Reliability: >.90. Scale scores are based on accepted performance standards for each item.  Assessments items are scored with a variety of scales, depending on the tasks and decision making attributes associated with the procedure. The instrument includes a weighted scale for measuring the case difficulty level. Assessors should choose the "Average" level if unsure of relative case difficulty.
