Orthopaedic OR Procedure Preparation, Set-Up - Detailed Formative.V1

Formative performance assessment of pre-operative preparation of patient, surgical team, and operating room (operative theatre) for Orthopedic Surgery procedures. The assessment instrument includes items that broadly examine multiple performance dimensions for: safety, medications, injury prevention, operative set-up, instruments and equipment, patient preparation, surgical team preparation, creating and maintaining a sterile environment, patient transfer and positioning, and other aspects of safe, efficient, pre-operative practices. Items are primarily scored with the scale: N/A, Not Done, Complete, Accurate, Incomplete, Inaccurate, Performed Independently, Required Assistance. Some items are scored with scales specifically aligned to the content. The instrument includes a weighted scale for measuring the case difficulty level.
