Summative performance assessment of internal fixation abilities for Orthopaedic surgeons and surgical trainees. A 26-item instrument scored with a variety of scales aligned to each item. Instrument may be implemented by faculty or attending surgeons. Construct Validity p<.001; Test-retest Reliability: >.90. Scale scores are based on accepted performance standards for each item. The instrument includes a weighted scale for measuring the case difficulty level.
